I have to give W. credit for a much improved delivery...strange though..he came into office talking about unity..and at the eleventh hour he's talking about unity...but in the seven intervening years when it counted..he never crossed the road.
Ted Kennedy snubbing his fellow New York Senator for an endorsement...incredulous..he did the same thing to President Carter in '80 at the convention...grow up Senator.

the old people in Ohio and Florida are going to vote for mccain and he's going to win and that's all there is to it, unless obama or hillary can perform a miracle (bush has the last laugh)

the constitution was supposed to "guarantee" a free government if used in the spirit it was created, but of course the people would prefer a 'king,' even a little one...england is actually more free than the us because they got rid of blair and they're out of the war

the beauty of the Red Sox and the Patriots (and why they have a following called Red Sox/Patriots Nation) is because it really works; they're fun to watch because the WIN, they're good, they have fun, they're beautiful, they are a team and it WORKS; take note, USA (they also give the credit to God, and they let Him do some incredible things; so many records have been broken, new plays done, and they've gotten out of every single jam they've been in this year, both teams!)

US diplomats sometimes go off-message By MATTHEW LEE, Associated Press Writer
Fri Feb 1, 6:31 AM ET

WASHINGTON - More and more, top government diplomats are straying from official Bush foreign policy as the administration wanes, leaving Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice struggling to keep them in check.

Twice just this week, Rice and her aides had to rebuke, disavow or otherwise try to explain away public words or actions by three top officials on delicate affairs ranging from North Korea and Iran to the violence in Kenya.
