Playoffs

I spent this morning training on my new Mac -- TAH DAH! The IT folks came through for me and I'm finally a fully-functioning blogging machine.

Here's my sketchbook page from a truncated day. Better be an idea on there somewhere. I have to file a finished drawing in one hour.

I've got a question Mr. fully-functioning blogging machine.
You mentioned in a previous post that we could respond with drawings of our own... how so? I'm not a blogger, so there must be some trick I don't see.

And yes, I love the idea of the blog and being able to look at the evolution of your art--blah, blah, blog.

Mr. Borgman,
I'm looking for a cartoon you did regarding Dr. O'dell Owens. I believe it was some kids opening the freezer door and asking their mom if they could show a friend their brother/sister. Is it in your 25th anniversary book? I can't find it anywhere on the Internet and I want to surprise him with a copy.

Brilliant.

Did you know about the home Mac-to online server - to work Mac exchange you can do at www.mac.com? Vice versa would work too, or so they say.

Thought of this when you mentioned having home & work Macs in a post.

I'm using the free mac.com trial now ~ haven't tried everything yet but it's been helpful.

Fully functioning blogging machine? Puh-leeze.... Don't make me laugh.

You've had an average of what? 5 responses a day?

I can just see this in the meeting of the liberal Enquierer. "Borgman, cartoonists all over the country are being let go because they cost too much and don't pull their weight. What else you got besides being a good little lefty?"

"I can blog." BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I can assure you I didn't draw the coroner cartoon you mention. I'm sure I've done my share of cartoons in poor taste, but that idea is way beyond my personal boundaries.

Anonymous, thanks for reminding me about the idea of posting visual comments on the blog. Creating a sort of 'Cartoons to the Editor' was one of the first notions that excited me about doing this blog. I occasionally receive cartoons from readers that have had no natural home in our newsprint pages.

That said, I've asked our online folks to research how such drawings might be posted here. They say they're checking it out and will get back to us.

Hey Anonymous 5:35AM - you sound like a spoiled fourteen year-old-boy. Why don't you do us all a favor and keep the childish name-calling and taunting for your parents.
