Oh, this is perfect. It's funny how I hear people in their H3s complain about gas prices.
I'm out in California and there are people who commute in H3s and Tahoes. They'll save more money if they just convert their cars to steam and burned money for fuel.
At last, my vespa makes an appearance! 60 mpg...I laugh at suvs, in my outrageous mock french accent.
Also - Jim - you get nominated for an award, and all of a sudden your blog gets zootier! Looks like the graphic designers got hold of it...
All of the Enquirer blogs have been redesigned, starting today, I think. You'll soon be treated to a full-length photo of me, too.
Zootier! I like that!
I have to say, I'm as tired as everyone else of hearing people in incredibly fuel-inefficient vehicles who commute over 30 miles to work complain about oil prices and blame "big oil" or the govnerment. Doesn't anybody understand supply and demand anymore?
Is it just me, or are small vehicles not only cheaper to buy and cheaper to drive than big ones, but they're also more fun to drive.
Just thought I'd add a link to one of my favorite Borgman cartoons from way back in 1999. I had it up on my office door for years.

As we still seem to be on the topic of "S-zootier-v's," I couldn't resist sticking something in here I e-mailed the Inkwar back on March 13th... the cartoon of Sunday has had my engine running and trunk/boot twitching:
"The WAR on drugs seems to be the invisible elephant in your mind ..."
Okay, back to the issue of gasoline prices: why does our government subsidize roads? We all have off-road vehicles by now, do we not?
Roads are the enablers of gasoline consumption. Shame on roads. (If you ride on roads, you ride with Osama.)
By the way, I walk to work.
Up with sidewalks!
