Jim Borgman has been the Enquirer's editorial cartoonist since 1976. Borgman has won every major award in his field, including the 1991 Pulitzer Prize, the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year in 1993, and most recently, the Adamson Award in 2005 as International Cartoonist of the Year. His award-winning daily comic strip Zits, co-created with Jerry Scott, chronicles the life of 15-year-old Jeremy Duncan, his family and friends through the glories and challenges of the teenage years. Since debuting in July 1997, Zits has regularly finished #1 in reader comics polls across America and is syndicated in more than 1300 newspapers around the world.

Well, said Jim. Will the heat ever end? Everyone reading this, please check on the elderly and disabled during this heatwave. Dozens are dying every day.
Which is worse, I wonder? The brutal heat we've been feeling this season, or the bitter cold of below zero windchill we've felt during winter?
I suppose there are many reasons to go either way.
You are right, Dan. It's never "just perfect" weather here in Cincinnati. It's either too hot or too cold. Spring and fall last for about 1 week.
I think I like winter better though. Easier to get warm than trying to stay cool.

I sent this to a friend of mine in Anchorage Alaska who is a Cincinnati native. She offered to swap our weather for hers for a few days. Unfortunately UPS was unwilling to ship it, something about hazmat restrictions.
