Good one!!!
Chris Wallace got clobbered like a hammer to rock on the noggin the other night by the "too long quite" ex-President, Bill Clinton.
Man, was it ever refreshing to experience Bill back on the offensive, in attack mode, claws and fangs gnashing away, tearing and ripping at poor ole Chris's carcass. Clinton flexing his temper now and again is common knowledge and interviewees, sometimes they can be just so darned defensive and protective when provoked, challenged, seemingly caught off guard. Like a mother lioness protecting her cubs.
Did Clinton go too far in his defense and repudiation of Wallaces intentions at the assertion that he lay blinded in the tall grass while hyenas were lurking at bay? I don't think so.
He got asked a question and gave a full and complete accounting, brusk and with much conviction for sure, yet delivered in a civil manner. More of our politicians ought to convey a similar amount of vernacular fortitude, oh, but so many of them play softball with the media and let themselves be pulled around by their nose, question after question asked, and always, always the answer or reply is not relevant or direct. So you get no concrete answer, no feelings are hurt, you still appear to be the "good guy" your poll numbers remain safe and not a drop of blood is spilt, figuratively speaking. Once again, Clinton broke the mold and gave a heartfelt, honest, robust and as usual, a refreshingly clear and cerebral counter and I say bully for him. The old Tiger showed some heart and if that interview didn't bring a smile to your face, well, wag my tail.
3 and 0 and a win over the Steelers, and this is what everyone is talking about. This team needs to weed out the bad eggs and fast. Um....Bill Clinton!!
Eric said it great. Nothing more to add.
cookenusa... what does your liberal rant have to do with yet another Bengal player in trouble with the law? Please post your left-wing diatribes someplace more appropriate.. like the recycle bin.
If Borgman and his blog feel the need to censor/ delete my comments or opinions on a topic my feelings won't be hurt. Bush and his minions have yet to deny my Constitutional right to free speech, last I read, it's Borgmans blog, not anonymous's.
I never said you did not have the right to speak your mind. I merely suggested that you keep your comments RELEVANT to the subject matter. In this case, another Bengal player in trouble with the law. Feel free to spew your liberal tripe in a forum dedicated to such nonsense with my blessings.
I think cookkenusa misread the cartoon.
As Groucho said, you musta been vaccinated with a phonograph needle.
