Teenage Doodles Wanted
The guy from King Features Syndicate called the other day and said he's working on some designs for Zits marketing. He needs some blue ballpoint pen doodles that look like they could have been done by Jeremy.
Easy enough, right? I've been making unnecessary phone calls for the last few days just to go into my doodling zone but everything I draw looks like the doodles of a guy who's been drawing for thirty years. I can't seem to unlearn what is by now a basic sense of composition and structure.
So I'm looking for authentic teenager doodles. Blue ballpoint pen on regular typing paper or whatever. Doodles that look like a high schooler's random notebook covers by the end of the year. If they have the name of Jeremy's band Goat Cheese Pizza in there, all the better.
If you send me something cool, I'll send you something cool.

Drew, I got your package today. Great stuff. Love the dream tattoo. I'll send you something next week.
I sent a page over the weekend. It wasn't much, but it was fun going back to the daydreaming days of a teenager! We thought the GCP logo we did wasn't too bad! Can't wait to see what comes of all the doodles everyone sends...
