Pigeons in the Jungle

This town never lets a cartoonist down.

We have a problem with pigeons in Paul Brown stadium. Apparently they chill in the rafters and beams of the roof canopy and poop on the fans during games. Officials are seeking the city's blessing to shoot the birds.

If there was ever a case for using the s-word in the newspaper, it was in today's lede. It should have read, "In Paul Brown Stadium, the s--- is hitting the fans." (Instead it said poop.)

I just don't understand why cincinnati keep any of their stadiums clean, ever; the Reds stadium was always filthy, and Jacobs field was always clean; not sure what the difference was, and it wasn't birds

are they going to be shooting the birds while the game is in process, or before or after; doesn't make sense

Hartford, CT imports birds to take care of the rats; sometimes it works, most times it doesn't

I think Mike Brown should be allowed to decide how to handle this poop problem. Could be entertaining! Mike / Katie / Pete / etc???

I'll admit, that "hit the fans" line is the funniest thing I've seen all day!

Maybe you could have something block the appropriate letters in "s"? Worked great in "Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars" (and on a much nastier word)

baseball hats, the flat part keeps the poop out of your eyes, nose and mouth; maybe should wear helmets, mouth guards and other protective gear

If the Bengals keep playing like they do, the pigeons will leave in disgust.
