Blogger has been acting hinky lately and I haven't been able to upload any notes for several days. (I know you wait with baited breath for my Starbucks napkins.) Here's a sampling of recent thoughts.

I always wait with baited breath, and grande Starbucks dark roast helps keep it that way... baited with a note of hinky.
The "distinction between immigrant and illegal immigrant" idea would be a great one since so many activist-types have lost perspective of that distinction.
It would make a good multi-panel Sunday cartoon. Maybe have 2 rows of panels, one for the legal immigrant and one for the illegal.
Legal goes through 4 steps, paperwork, classes, working, naturalization.
Illegal goes through 4 steps, sneaking across border, buying fake IDs, getting picked up at Home Depot, indignation at being called illegal.
