D-5 Speedball Nibs

Does anyone know where I can find D-5 Speedball lettering nibs? I've been told they're no longer made and the one (yes, one) I've been nursing along for the last several years has about given up. It's my favorite nib for lettering my editorial cartoon captions.

Jim,

If that doesn't work, try ...

Here's a link to an eBay auction with a D5 nib

I have several speedball nibs, but I can't see the numbers very clear, can you put a picture of the one you are looking for?...

Thanks, Photo Assistant. That was exactly what I needed. I've ordered enough to keep me in business a long time.

I remember Charles Schulz once telling a colleague that he would retire when he ran out of a certain pen nib he used to draw Peanuts, and which had been discontinued. The colleague frantically shopped around for all of that nib she could find and brought them to Schulz next time she visited.

Sparky quietly opened his supply cabinet to reveal boxes and boxes of the nib which he'd stored up over the years.

Duall no longer carries them. Their supply is exhausted. I know because I already tried, and even though I was able to order them they had to cancel that part of my order. The smallest they had was a D-4.

I did speak with the other supplier on the phone some weeks ago, and they did say they had them, so if you ordered from there you should be good. However, if you ordered the only ones they had left, I hope I could get you share at least one with me.
