Take a peek over Jim Borgman's shoulder

Jim Borgman has been the Enquirer's editorial cartoonist since 1976. Borgman has won every major award in his field, including the 1991 Pulitzer Prize, the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year in 1993, and most recently, the Adamson Award in 2005 as International Cartoonist of the Year. His award-winning daily comic strip Zits, co-created with Jerry Scott, chronicles the life of 15-year-old Jeremy Duncan, his family and friends through the glories and challenges of the teenage years. Since debuting in July 1997, Zits has regularly finished #1 in reader comics polls across America and is syndicated in more than 1300 newspapers around the world.

Jim --

I'm sorry we all have to put up with these idiots. I am not a cartoonist, but I read and enjoy your blog almost every day and enjoy your cartoons -- even when I disagree.

Jim...you waited awhile to address the Obama pastor debacle. Are you going to address or ignore the WHOPPER of a LIE told by Hillary about her landing in Bosnia where she claimed to've been strafed by sniper fire but in truth she walked cheerfully from a military helicopter to receive a bouquet of flowers?
I realize you were a staunch Clinton-man back in the day so it may pain you to draw a sort of "Ripley's Believe Her Or Not" cartoon of this wild fantastic fantasy scenario conjured in the warped mind of the potential POTUS...

I'd love to see you draw a Superman comic! That would be hilarious.

Good heavens, don't tell me Clark Kent is thinking of leaving the Daily Planet?!

(Bill Schorr, about 25 years ago, drew a cartoon that stuck in my mind. A disconsolate Superman is sitting on a park bench...a rather annoyed woman (Lois Lane?) is sitting next to him. The caption was to the effect of: "...but no, YOU had to work for an afternoon newspaper!")
